I love how in Starcraft 2 there seems to be farms on some of the maps. This is new to the game and it definitely makes the games feel a little out of place, but it's something new at the same time that looks great. The new background scenarios and effects are definitely something that we think will look 500x better since the first Starcraft was released so long ago. The one amazing part about the first Starcraft is how well it ran in it's day and age. It didn't have the greatest graphics, but it ran together very smoothly to make it a nice game. These are my favorite types of battles. It's the battles that involve the same type of race since there is no advantage or disadvantage if the game creators happened to make one race stronger by mistake. This is why this is my favorite type of battle and the other reason is that I love the Terran race in battles due to it's type of technology. It really makes me wonder about the future except without the war between humans as the Terran are humans. This is also a very cool map and the lava looks really well done instead of like a rock with a red light underneath it. This is what we had to deal with in the first Starcraft, but that was well over 10 years ago now. I can't wait to try this out on this very nice map. << MORE >>

This is a battle between the Terran and the Protoss. The protoss are waging their offensive attack on a defensive Terran and it appears they are going land and air, but I'm not completely sure. The new units haven't been explained very well and I hope to see them in the game, so I can get an idea of them. I do enjoy the kind of quiet mystical approach they have gone with these units. They do look like something out of the movies though and in mind war of the worlds with Tom Cruise. These units in my honest opinion seem really dumb since they are just giant robots with huge laser beams attached to them. This is a great image of a starcraft 2 battle being done by the protoss and the terran. The terran race is attacking the protoss as they try to defend their base. This is what makes Starcraft such a great game is the battles that are waged between the different races. It's very easy to out think or out work another opponent if you do it correctly and bring in enough power with a decent range of different troops, so you don't have any weakness against the other sides forces. This is not easily done, but can be done when you learn the game. The game also has a great work of detail for a real time strategy game. Most of the time in the past strategy games have lacked on detail, but Starcraft 2 will not since it's being developed very well.<< MORE >>

The Terran logo for starcraft 2 is really nice. It's one of the better designed logos and it makes you understand what it means more instead of the other symbols for the other races. They don't seem to do the same justice when it comes to the icons. It's not an important part because it's just a photo, but this one is my favorite and it's the best designed logo for starcraft. The Terran will be my first choice when I start playing starcraft 2. The only thing I don't enjoy about this picture is the colors because they don't seem to match well with what I'm used to as the terran race. The Starcraft 2 Zerg icon is one of the cooler looking icons in my opinion. It's got a nice feel to it and the colors match well with that of the Zerg race. The Zerg race is usually a darker purple for all of their creatures and rely on this to help them blend in some settings, but in the game most of the time they don't blend very well with the ground since Starcraft is a real time strategy. You will be able to see most of the units right away and you can just turn up the settings to make sure you do see them at different times. << MORE >>

This is one of the Terran rank symbols in Starcraft 2. It really doesn't have much of a meaning throughout the game except for the fact that you might enjoy using the Terran. It's definitely a cool piece of artwork though since I love the Terran and most of the terran gear they use. It's got a very nice rustic look to it and it looks like it may have come off of a dead soldier or a soldier who went through a lot fighting the Zerg or the Protoss in the battlefield. Of course this is all make believe, but I wonder if this symbol will mean anything in the game relating to a character or a soldier in the game. << MORE >>

The Starcraft 2 game logo looks really amazing, but now I'm really hoping for the actual game. It's been too long to wait for Starcraft 2 it seems even though it's going to be very polished. I just wish they wouldn't of said by the end of 2009 since it's almost April 2010 which isn't bringing my hopes up of actually playing this game before I parish. Hopefully Starcraft comes out before 2050 or at least by 2060, but you never know it could be another Starcraft flop that they run out of money to produce the game. << MORE >>
